Ismael Comprés

Ismael Comprés is a founding partner and practicing lawyer at Ortiz & Comprés, focusing mainly on Civil Law, Commercial Law, Corporate Law and Labor Law.

Within his practice he advises on the establishment of companies in Export Free Zones and follow-up of their operations, while actively participating in litigation before the courts as well as in arbitration and mediation as forms of Alternative Dispute Resolution.

He is a Notary Public, an arbitrator before the Alternative Dispute Resolution Centers of the Santiago and Santo Domingo Chambers of Commerce and Production, a member of the Arbitration Commission within the National Chapter of the International Chamber of Commerce, and teaches as a professor at the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra, Santiago campus.
